To be disabled in Nepal's remote places means severe daily hardship. To be woman and disabled is even more difficult. Yet, Ganga, who lost her legs at a young age due to fire is an inspiring young woman who has overcome enormous obstacles and proven to everyone that physical disability should not be barrier ones' success and dreams.

It is therefore good to see that her immense courage is being recognised by our Nepalese community here in UK too.  Well done to Gulmi Samaj UK for helping give opportunity, encouragement and hope to courageous disabled people like Ganga back in Nepal.  Gurkhas.com team also wishes Miss Ganga Rayamajhi the very best for her future.

  I am glad to see these organizations for organizing this event to fecilitate an exceptional woman who is equally deserving of the recognition. We hope to see them appreciate the work of true hard working individuals rather than just organizers of a gathering or parties.
