Marking a noticeable diversion from other Gurkha Nepalese community summer get-togethers, the Kirant Sunuwar Welfare Society UK (est.2007) once again observed their annual gathering this year in their beautiful traditional attire accompanied by the unique sound of their traditional folk songs and dances, reminding the younger generation of this unique aspect of their cultural heritage.
