The Court of Appeal has allowed cases where there is clear dependency - both financial and emotional - between the ex-Gurkha and his adult dependents, saying that the historic injustice in the treatment fo Gurkhas is still a strong factor so long as there was injustice in each case.

We have received queries regarding whether the ruling will allow all Gurkha children over 18 to join their parents who are settled in UK; As explained quite clearly in the accompanying video clip by Kieran O' Rourke, there are a number of criteria before Gurkha dependants can become eligible to come to UK.
