For me as a commited Inter-faith/Multi-faiths dialogue promoter/supporter today has been a great day for both the Buddhist Commuminity and those of other faith. I spent my time with Media both reporters of Radio Surrey and Eagle Radio and the local newspapers and of course the tabloids and some heavies. I wholeheartedly congratulate BCCUK's chairman KAJI Sherpa, the chief coordinator Damar Ghale , the Executive Committee members, all volunteers and all members of the BCCUK and the Aama Samaj of BCCUK. I told reporters the Aaama Samaj of BCC is equivalent of Mothers Union in the local Church group. Before the arrival of his holiness I had told the reporters his holiness is a man of Peace who belives in equality and kindness(Daya) His sermon vindicated my estimate of his holiness. The Radio commentry from non Neplai and non-Buddhists who had travelled from Oxfordshire, Glasgow, and a Christian vicar from Herefordshire gave very positive comment. Yes the event was expensive but worth all the money. The Mongolians were just as excited, brimming with enthusiasm to have a glimpse of this extraordinary man who donot have Hate/Hatred in his vocubalary, not at all in his mind. He is also a forward thinker regarding Buddhism as he exhorted Buddhists not just to hang on rituals but read the books or lessons he mentioned during the sermon. He said Buddhism must move on to 21st century. Scientist in the world are investigating mind and Buddhism delves into mind--meditation being a powerful transformer of mind. The BCCUK and its members have done a great service to Aldershot/Rushmoor on Community Relationship:Aldershot and Aldershot Football Club are in the World map.For individual who has/had expressed negative opinion I say to the person you missed the holyman's presence and his down to earth manner.I told the BBC reporter his holiness Dalai Lama's message today is essentially distilled to:"Love thy neighbours as thyself" and do not harm fellow human beings".Thank you very much BCCUK. I attended many meetings of BCCUK. I hope and pray the BCC BUDDHIST members in UK from many parts of Nepal and all Buddhists in Nepal will put into action the edicts and ethos of being a Buddhism made so explicitly clear by his holiness.OOM Mane Padme Hom.It was a momentous day that the Dalai Lama's openess and respect of and for other faiths showed his humanity, his love for all mankind. His sermon is a challenge to all Buddhist and Non-Buddhists. The message of Non Violance and love all we all have have to follow/practice.OOm Mane Padme Hom. Raj Chhetri,Winner of Surrey Inspiration Award:promoting Community Cohesion.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to experience the blessed presence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. We have been to this previous talk sessions and he is quite a charmer, often cracks jokes in between but no-doubt a great philosopher. Everybody will enjoy his company and presence. Kudos for organizing this event.

Biswajang Ji, First of all thank you for your blunt comment. Please try to understand the depth reality of this event. I am the Chief Coordinator for this event and am working as a volunteer to serve the Buddhist Community Centre UK (BCC UK). To be fair to all I think it would wise to contact the organiser before accusing with such a cinical view. The BCC Uk is a registered Charity in UK not a LOOTER! Please feel free to contact us if you wish to evaluate the BCCUK. Contact Tel No 07765453928 or log on WWW.BCCUK.CO.UK Mr T Gurung is absolutely correct. To organise this event costing BBCCUK over £50,000.00 just to cover administration and logistics. All BCCUK Trustees and Life Members are volunteers! I Hope you won't take this response in a negative sense. Thank you Damar Ghale
