Job Role: Contract 100 days per year, 2-3 days each week for the duration of the football season.

 

£10ph – 20-25hrs per week

5 X located in the North

5 X located in the South

 

Assistant Van Captains

 

Our Client is dedicated to delivering the next generation of commercial applications for those working within the sport of association football.

 

Due to expansion they have the requirement for Assistant Van Captains to join their team covering either the North or South of England.

The company’s principal business is vision and data services to the broadcast industry, which is based on outside broadcast production. They offer solutions across the entire digital workflow from image capture to distribution.

 

Key Tasks:

 

-     Working on locations at Premier League Stadiums as part of a two-man team you will install, maintain and operate the organisations system.

-     Help with the setup of equipment and the setup of the trucks at various locations.

-     Ensure times, places and agendas are adhered too.

-     Comply with health and safety procedures at all times.

-     Report to Van Captain to support the company and the clients’ requirements.

 

Applicant Requirements:

 

-     Bright individuals with, ideally, an understanding IT, ideally, with an understanding of TV engineering.

-     Excellent communication skills and a professional manner are crucial to work in our live environment.

-     An excellent reading of a football game and the ability to interpret live match events.

-     The ability to work in small teams.

-     Confident, with a keen eye for detail.

-     Must be fully prepared to work at heights of up to 60 metres (approx 200 feet).

-     Ability to climb and work safely at heights.

-     Flexibility towards working hours, as you will be required to work away from home.

-     Full clean driving licence.
