Job Description

Are you looking for an opportunity with an organisation that has a property portfolio encompassing many of the UK’s cityscapes, ancient forests, farms, parkland, coastline and communities? If so, this company has a requirement for an experienced agricultural mechanic / technician to assist with the maintenance of their large fleet of agricultural and horticultural tractors and associated equipment.

It’s a varied and busy job and as you might have guessed, you could go from fixing a faulty chainsaw one day to repairing a tractor the next. It needs confidence and the ability not to be phased by anything that comes your way that needs your expertise. Experience of automotive cars and vans would be an advantage.

Qualifications & Experience
With relevant practical experience, you will ideally have either an NVQ level 3 qualification in agricultural engineering although an HNC – or similar qualification – will be considered.

If you are only part qualified we would still like to hear from you, as you may be the ideal candidate. However, a full driving licence is essential and a CRB check will be undertaken.

Salary Package

£16,900 - £21,100 plus a generous pension scheme, 25 days’ annual leave and a discretionary performance bonus.
