INTERVIEW REQUEST BBC WORLD SERVICE
Hello,
I work on a programme called Outlook which is listend to by an audience
of 50 million people worldwide.
We look at the human interest stories behind the headlines with our
presetner Matthew Bannister.
A year on from the historic High Court win last year, we would very much
like to talk to one of the Gurkhas who was involved and to Joanna
Lumley.
I would be very grateful if you could email me a number of who I can
talk to about this or call me on 020 7 5571682.
Thank you so much
Best Wishes
Jane Chambers

Re: INTERVIEW REQUEST BBC WORLD SERVICE
I think your best bet would be contacting Peter Carroll, or Howe and Co Solicitors who worked closely with the great Joanna Lumley and Gurkha heroes throughout the campaign. They are still in touch with most of the veterans. Peter Carroll is Councillor for Shepway, Howe and Co Solicitors are based in London.
You may be able to get in touch with GAESO, prominent Gurkha organisation through them too. there is also BGWS www.bgws.org
Good luck.

Re: INTERVIEW REQUEST BBC WORLD SERVICE
Of course you could interview Mr Caroll and his team members. We are indebted to their service. At the same time, I would really suggest that you also interview everyday Gurkha veterans who have been here for longer period of time as well as the most recent. May be some of the Gurkha/Nepali community organization can help you in connecting these people to you.
