Gurkha Pension
I was watching TV the other day and it said that if you are in the EU and come to England you could get a British Pension?
Also medical and other things as well.
In that case if an ex Gurkha comes to stay by right in England then he is also in the EU.
And I would think he should get the same rights as other EU citizens.
This is just my way of thinking but I found out years ago you find the rules and play by them.

Re: Gurkha Pension
It's not that easy . When you arrive in the UK, you might be able to get other benefit such as accomodation and healthcare but not equal pension for all Gurkhas. Wish it was true.

Re: Gurkha Pension
Yes your right all they won was the right to come here then the powers that be or should I say the ass holes that be put things in front of them to try to stop them.
They know an ex GR man would find it hard to live here unless he had some way of support like a job to come to or a friend that can help him till he can get a job.
The Gurkha pension is not good enough to live on here and they all know that these people in power in England.
They are as corrupt as a nine bob note as we say they like filling there own pockets and buying there second homes at our expense.
Lying through there teeth about most things going on.
Going on fact finding committees looking into the global worming by lying on a beach in the south seas and they don’t need even to make a report of there findings.
And they get well paid for there dam holidays on us but will not help the people that should be helped.

Re: Gurkha Pension
We have been fighting for the Gurkhas for over 20 years letters to and from the Queen and the Home office.
They stayed with us for over 12months also many from the GR came to stay at my home with us and also to visit us this was well before Miss Joanna-Lumley came along to help.
Even then I found every twist and turn from MPs to home office immigration to Kenneth Clark to many more organisations.
They all said they would help and never did a dam thing it is disgusting what is being done by politicians and most of them would never join the army.
